The Cathedral will observe the first day of Lent with services on Ash Wednesday.

The Right Reverend Andrew ML Dietsche, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New York, will preside at this evening service. The all-professional Cathedral Choir will sing the haunting “Miserere” of Gregoria Allegri and Samuel Wesley’s “Wash me thoroughly,” joined by the volunteer Cathedral Chorale.

During the service, all are welcome to receive the imposition of ashes from Cathedral clergy. Tonight's service will be held in person and livestreamed on this page and on the Cathedral's Facebook page and YouTube channel.
