Join the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the Diocese of New York for a special evensong to commemorate the 50th anniversary of women’s ordination to the priesthood, and celebrate the ministry we all share as disciples. The evensong is part of a yearlong celebration in our diocese that includes both local and diocese-wide invitations, organized by the diocesan Task Force on the 50th Anniversary of Women as Priests.
The music includes works of Florence Price, Amy Beach, Jessica French, Joanna Forbes L'Estrange, and Gail Randall. This event will be live streamed.
A reception will follow the service. All are welcome.
