Our largest service, warm and elegantly formal. The repertoire of our professional Cathedral Choir, volunteer Chorale and Boy and Girl Choristers derives mostly from the classical tradition--mass settings and anthems as well as great hymns and spirituals. Communion is received in the round, after a sermon from the Cathedral Dean or Chapter members.

At this service, the Right Reverend Andrew M.L. Dietsche, Bishop of New York, will seat the Most Reverend Suheil Dawani, Fourteenth Anglican Bishop in Jerusalem on the International Ecumenical Cathedra.

The Most Rev. Suheil S. Dawani has served as Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem since 2007 and Archbishop and Primate of the Episcopal Church of Jerusalem and the Middle East since 2017. He leads more than 20 humanitarian institutions - schools, hospitals, and centers for children with disabilities - throughout Palestine, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. Each institution is open to all regardless of religion, ethnicity, or ability to pay. He is the chief pastor of 27 parishes and an influential figure among faith leaders in Jerusalem and beyond. “We should build bridges of hope and peace instead of walls of separation and fear. We are one,” he says. “Our ministry there is your ministry here.”
