Nightwatch Returns!

Spend an evening in the world’s largest Gothic cathedral immersed in a faith-based program to deepen your spiritual connection with God. Together with the Community at the Crossing we invite you to go from darkness into the light while participating in a program designed to guide you go deeper within yourself. This program has been described as “life-giving,” “powerful,” and “It reminds us that we are not alone; we have the holy One with us.”

Join us to experience some of the following: community building, workshops, exploration of the cathedral through interactive activities, candlelight meditation, music, dance, drumming, writing, and labyrinth walk. This powerful program closes with a shared Eucharist.

The program will be offered and tailored for two different age groups this year: teens (12-18) and young adults (25-35). The teens will stay overnight, sleeping in the undercroft of the Cathedral; young adults will have the option of staying overnight while sleeping in the Cathedral's Nave.

For more information, reach us at [email protected] or call 212-932-7301.

Please note, the Great Organ is currently undergoing restoration. We regret that we will not be able to provide a demonstration of our magnificent organ at this time. Our beloved peacocks, Phil, Jim and Harry, who have lived on the Cathedral campus for over 20 years, have been relocated to Animal Nation, a sanctuary upstate, to live out their golden years.
