As we celebrate Black History Month, take an hour to study and discuss icons found in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, both past and present, that honor depictions of Black people. Look closely at icons like Our Lady of Ferguson by Mark Doox and Black Madonna of Czestochowa by Wanda Zagorska with others, and work together to discuss and come to a shared, deeper understanding of the art. This discussion is led by a Cathedral Educator, and all are encouraged to participate during the program.

Tickets are $10/person.

This program will take place via Zoom, and log-in information will be sent out before the program.
