Who was Mary Magdalene? Although she appears prominently in the New Testament, little is know for certain about this Biblical figure.

On September 17, all are invited to join the Congregation of St. Saviour and Cathedral Poet in Residence Marie Howe for a reading and discussion of Mary Magdalene's life and legend. In her book Magdalene: Poems, Marie Howe imagines the biblical figure of Mary Magdalene as a woman who embodies the spiritual and sensual, alive in a contemporary landscape―hailing a cab, raising a child, listening to news on the radio.

Join us to be inspired by great poetry and spiritual inquiry. All are welcome!
