Nightwatch
Nightwatch Returns for 2023!

After a period of hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, Nightwatch is returning to the Cathedral for Spring 2023! Upcoming overnights will be held on May 26 and June 23. See below to register!
The Community at the Crossing, the new intentional ecumenical community for young adults at the Cathedral, is taking on the responsisbilty and organziaiton for Nightwatch - we're looking forward to welcoming you here!
The Nightwatch program offers a Friday evening and overnight spiritual retreat for middle and high school age students, youth groups and their adult chaperones. Your group will have the opportunity to unplug from the distractions and stresses of daily life to connect with God and one another in the sacred space of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.
For decades, Nightwatch has created a safe, spirit-centered program of joyful fellowship, contemplative-contemporary spiritual direction, devotional singing, and lots of fun activities. Visit this page soon for more info on tickets to our upcoming overnights and events or contact [email protected] for details.
Please note, the Great Organ is currently undergoing restoration. We regret that we will not be able to provide a demonstration of our magnificent organ at this time. Our beloved peacocks, Phil, Jim and Harry, who have lived on the Cathedral campus for over 20 years, have been relocated to Animal Nation, a sanctuary upstate, to live out their golden years.
